LED Spot Moving Head Lights

LED spot moving head lights project a focused field for gobos, patterns and defined stage looks. The products in this category include dedicated Spot models, Beam Spot fixtures, 3-in-1 Beam Spot Wash hybrids and models with verified framing systems. Choose by the effect and optical functions you need rather than by wattage or product name alone.

Choose the right Spot function

Spot-related categories overlap, but they solve different production needs.
Fixture Use and checks
LED Spot Focused gobos and patterns. Confirm optics, focus, gobo wheels, prism and colour.
Beam Spot Aerial beam plus focused patterns. Confirm separate optical ranges, focus, gobos and prism.
BSW Hybrid Beam, pattern and wash cues. Review the 3-in-1 Hybrid range.
Profile / Framing Shaped fields and scenic masking. Review verified Profile and Framing models.

Gobos create patterns and textures. They do not provide the four-sided shaping of framing shutters. A Spot or BSW fixture belongs in a framing specification only when its published product data explicitly lists a framing system.

Spot moving head examples

150W LED Spot Moving Head

A dedicated Spot example for defined pattern projection. Published features include a 15° beam angle, fixed and rotating gobos, motorized focus, a 3-facet prism and 10/12/14/16-channel DMX modes.

250W LED Beam Spot Moving Head

For projects that need both aerial beam looks and focused patterns. Published features include 9°–32° motorized zoom, fixed and rotating gobos, motorized focus, a 3-facet prism and 17-channel DMX control.

250W LED Beam Spot Wash 3-in-1

A hybrid option with published Beam 6°–26° and Spot 10°–37° ranges, fixed and rotating gobos, motorized focus, frost, a 3-facet prism, and DMX512/RDM control.

These are AOLAIT product examples, not independent rankings. Compare current model documents and the selected configuration before ordering. The moving head Spot selection guide explains how the available models fit different event and stage uses.

What to compare before choosing

Optics and distance

Start with throw distance, target size and the required beam or zoom range. Ask for photometric data measured at a stated distance and angle; source wattage alone does not describe output at the stage.

Patterns and focus

Check the published fixed and rotating gobo wheels, focus control and prism. If the brief calls for logo projection, confirm the artwork, gobo size and optical conditions for the chosen model.

Colour and control

Choose between a fixed colour wheel and variable colour mixing according to the cue list. Confirm the exact DMX mode, channel chart and console fixture profile for the model.

Rigging and operation

Use the product manual for dimensions, weight, electrical requirements, safety attachment and installation limits. Include noise requirements when the fixture will operate near presenters, performers or cameras.

Indoor or exposed use

Do not infer weather protection from the Spot or Hybrid name. For exposed use, select a model with a published IP rating and confirm the installation conditions.

Spot, Wash or Hybrid

Use the Wash vs Spot guide for the basic optical difference, then consider a Hybrid only when one fixture must cover several effect types.

Verify the Spot model and packing

AL150LS for focused gobos: the AL150LS user manual (PDF) lists 15° optics, IP20, a 3-facet prism and 10/12/14/16-channel DMX modes. It reports 3,450 lux at 5 m in white light and includes a photometric section. This is a published reference condition, not a guaranteed light level at every throw or with colour and gobos.

Choose by the project: start with AL150LS for dedicated pattern projection. Compare the 250W Beam Spot model when variable 9°–32° optics and beam cues are required. Use a BSW hybrid for additional wash cues, or a Profile model for framing. Send the actual throw and target size to check coverage; AL150LS’s IP20 rating is for indoor use.

AL150LS packing reference: the manual lists 305 × 305 × 500 mm single-unit packing, 580 × 365 × 520 mm two-unit packing and a 760 × 390 × 680 mm two-unit flight case. Ask us to confirm the selected packing, current packed weight and freight cost for your destination.

Need beam, spot and wash in one head? Watch AOLAIT’s 250W BSW 3-in-1 demonstration. This shows the hybrid alternative, not the AL150LS. For the dedicated Spot model, request a model-specific demonstration if you need to verify a particular gobo or focus cue.

What you receive after an enquiry

Your enquiry gives us the basis to recommend suitable models, quote for your quantity, confirm packaging choices and calculate transport options for your delivery country. A model number is optional: write “model undecided” if you need selection help.

Tell us if you need a sample before a larger order. Sample availability and cost, spare-parts support, warranty terms and production lead time need confirmation for the selected model and quantity. Include your required arrival date so production and transport can be checked together.

Include in your message: application or project type; quantity or sample request; delivery country; required arrival date. If known, add throw distance, target size and indoor or outdoor conditions.
